Resumé Circular Bio-based Construction Industry animation

CBCI is short for Circular Bio-based Construction Industry and this is an EU funded project (Interreg 2 Seas program). The CBCI project aims to provide practical solutions to speed up the uptake of circular bio-based construction. With real-life projects, prototyping, testing, modelling and simulation, this project is about learning and doing. In this applied design research, we also explore to what extent an industrial approach helps to increase circularity and the application of bio-based materials in the construction sector. Yet, the project is also about developing suitable tendering methods and business models and about tackling obstacles in rules and regulations. Samenvatting Circular Bio-based Construction Industry animatie

CBCI staat voor Circular Bio-based Construction Industry en dit is een door de EU gefinancierd project (Interreg 2 Zeeën-programma). Het CBCI-project heeft tot doel praktische oplossingen te bieden om de acceptatie van circulair biobased bouwen te versnellen. Met real-life projecten, prototyping, testen, modelleren en simulatie gaat dit project over leren en doen.In dit toegepast ontwerpend onderzoek onderzoeken we ook in hoeverre een industriële aanpak bijdraagt aan het vergroten van circulariteit en de toepassing van biobased materialen in de bouwsector.Maar het project gaat ook over het ontwikkelen van geschikte aanbestedingsmethoden en businessmodellen en het aanpakken van belemmeringen in wet- en regelgeving. Bekijk de animatie voor meer informatie over het CBCI-project!
