Het project Building on Mycelium onderzoekt de mogelijkheden om van substraat, bestaande uit verschillende (lokale) biobased reststromen, met mycelium een biocomposiet te maken. Van dit materiaal, dat een foam-achtig uiterlijk heeft, kunnen verschillende vormen worden gemaakt. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan isolatiemateriaal, of er kan een plaatmateriaal van geperst worden. Een update over de behaalde resultaten en voortgang.
